About Veronica

Veronica Saborio-Jarquin is a native of San Jose, Costa Rica. She received her Law Degree from the University of Costa Rica in 2002 and was admitted to the Costa Rican Bar in 2003. Ms. Saborio practiced law in her native Country until destiny intervened when she met a native New Orleanian on her way home from work one day. After a few short trips to our beautiful city, Ms. Saborio was sold. She and her husband were married in the French Quarter in 2005. In 2009, Ms. Saborio became a United States Citizen.

In 2008, Ms. Saborio petitioned the Louisiana State Supreme Court to take the Louisiana Bar and in 2009, she was admitted to practice law in Louisiana. It is an amazing accomplishment for someone to not only have passed two bars exams but done so in two separate languages. In addition to Spanish and English, Ms. Saborio speaks French and Portuguese.

Since 2009, Ms. Saborio has been practicing Immigration Law. No stranger to the process, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to every case she handles as well as a deep understanding and empathy for the issues immigrant’s face.
